Steve Knodl specializes in developing product strategies to drive growth at technology companies. He has developed business plans and product strategies for world-class companies. With over 15 years of experience in both engineering and marketing roles he knows how to turn new ideas and technologies into products and bring them to the marketplace.
Steve has worked with established leaders including: Compaq, Adaptec, Western Digital and startups VA Linux Systems. Typical engagements involve working with leaders – typically Managers, Presidents, CEOs, VPs and Directors – to define a strategic direction, build plans and deliver results.
Steve is a past board member of San Diego’s High Tech Marketing Alliance (www.htma-org.com), an organization dedicated to keeping its member and the technology community educated on the latest marketing issues and innovations and has written on the topic of product strategy for publications such as the San Diego Daily Transcript.
Steve holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA from the University of Houston.
